How We Work Together
Sometimes people arrive knowing exactly what they want support with.
More often, they arrive with a quiet sense that something isn't working anymore.
You may feel disconnected from yourself, overwhelmed by responsibility, stuck in the same relationship patterns, or exhausted from carrying expectations that no longer fit.
The areas below aren't separate problems to solve.
They're different ways the same deeper patterns often show up.
Reconnecting with Yourself
Sometimes the hardest person to stay connected to is yourself. Not because you've done anything wrong, but because life has asked so much of you for so long.
You might be here if:
You struggle to make decisions because you're so used to considering everyone else's needs first.
You don't remember the last time you did something simply because you wanted to.
You rarely feel satisfied, even after reaching goals you've worked incredibly hard to achieve.
You're constantly asking yourself, "Should I be doing more?"
You feel guilty spending time, energy, or money on yourself.
You're beginning to wonder what life would feel like if it wasn't driven by obligation alone.
Together, we explore the patterns that have made it difficult to stay connected to yourself—and begin creating space for choice, curiosity, and a life that feels more intentional.
Culture, Identity, Belonging & Inherited Roles
There's a particular kind of exhaustion that comes from carrying multiple scripts at once—the one your family handed down, and the one you've had to write for yourself just to meet the expectations placed upon you.
Every family passes something down, whether they mean to or not: ideas about success, sacrifice, loyalty, responsibility, and what you're allowed to want for yourself. For many women—especially those from immigrant, diaspora, or racialized backgrounds—that inheritance comes with real weight. The opportunities you have today may exist because someone before you gave something up, making it difficult to know where gratitude ends and obligation begins.
You might be here if:
You're "the one who made it," but success hasn't brought the freedom you thought it would.
You carry both what your family sacrificed and what it now expects of you.
You feel caught between different cultures, identities, or versions of who you're supposed to be.
Setting boundaries feels like disappointing the people you love.
You often wonder whether the life you're building is truly yours or one you've inherited.
You want language for what you're carrying without dishonouring where it came from.
Together, we explore burnout, perfectionism, over-functioning, identity, self-worth, life transitions, and practical ways of reconnecting with yourself through both insight and body-based therapeutic approaches..
Attachment & Relationships
Relationships have a way of bringing our oldest patterns to the surface. Whether with a partner, family, friends, or even yourself, the ways we seek closeness, protect ourselves, communicate, and respond to conflict are often shaped long before adulthood.
You might be here if:
The same conflicts seem to repeat, even in different relationships.
You struggle to ask for what you need without guilt or fear of rejection.
You find yourself overthinking conversations long after they've ended.
You pull away when relationships feel difficult—or hold on tightly when they feel uncertain.
You want healthier relationships but aren't sure how to create them.
You're preparing for marriage and want to build a stronger foundation together.
Together, we explore attachment, communication, boundaries, conflict, emotional intimacy, premarital counselling, and the relational patterns that shape connection.
Trauma & The Nervous System
Our minds remember, but so do our bodies.
Sometimes the ways we cope today began as intelligent ways of surviving experiences that once felt overwhelming. Therapy isn't about getting rid of those protective responses—it's about understanding them and gently expanding your capacity to feel safe, connected, and present.
You might be here if:
You feel constantly "on," even when life is relatively calm.
Rest feels unfamiliar or uncomfortable.
Your body often feels tense, exhausted, numb, or overwhelmed.
You react more strongly than you'd like and don't always understand why.
You've tried to think your way through your struggles but still feel stuck.
You're curious about working with your body—not just your thoughts.
Together, we explore trauma, nervous system regulation, somatic psychotherapy, breathwork, emotional regulation, and compassionate ways of working with the patterns your body has learned over time.
Women's Health & Chronic Stress
Women's emotional wellbeing doesn't exist separately from the rest of their lives.
Hormonal changes, caregiving, chronic stress, fertility, pregnancy, perimenopause, chronic illness, autoimmune conditions, and the invisible labour of holding everything together all shape how we experience ourselves and the world around us. Because chronic stress is experienced in both the mind and the body, our work may also include nervous system regulation, somatic psychotherapy, and breathwork to support deeper healing and restoration.
You might be here if:
You're carrying so much responsibility that you've stopped noticing how exhausted you are.
Your mood or emotional resilience seems to shift with your menstrual cycle or hormonal changes.
You're navigating fertility, pregnancy, pregnancy loss, or decisions about becoming a parent.
You're living with a chronic illness or health condition that others don't fully understand.
You feel like you're constantly caring for everyone else while quietly running on empty.
You're looking for support that considers the whole picture—not just your symptoms.
Together, we explore women's health, chronic stress, reproductive transitions, chronic illness, caregiving, nervous system regulation, and sustainable ways of caring for yourself.
ADHD
For many women, ADHD goes unnoticed for years because it doesn't always look the way people expect.
Instead of hyperactivity, it may show up as overwhelm, perfectionism, chronic procrastination, emotional intensity, or constantly feeling like you're falling behind despite working incredibly hard.
You might be here if:
You feel overwhelmed by tasks that seem simple for other people.
Your mind rarely feels quiet.
You swing between hyperfocus and complete exhaustion.
You constantly underestimate how long things will take.
You feel disorganized, forgetful, or frustrated with yourself.
You're beginning to wonder whether ADHD explains experiences you've blamed on yourself for years.
Together, we explore executive functioning, emotional regulation, self-compassion, nervous system regulation, practical strategies that work with your brain rather than against it, and body-based approaches that support sustainable change.
Anxiety & Depression
Anxiety and depression are often more than symptoms to manage.
Sometimes they're signals that something deeper has been asking for your attention for a long time. Rather than focusing only on feeling better, we work toward understanding what your mind and body may be trying to communicate.
You might be here if:
Your mind is constantly anticipating what could go wrong.
You struggle to switch off, even when you're exhausted.
You feel emotionally flat or disconnected from things that once mattered to you.
You spend a great deal of energy appearing okay while privately feeling overwhelmed.
You feel caught in cycles of worry, self-criticism, or hopelessness.
You're looking for deeper understanding, not just coping strategies.
Together, we explore anxiety, depression, emotional resilience, self-compassion, nervous system regulation, and the patterns contributing to how you're feel today.
Grief & Life Transitions
Not all grief follows the loss of a person.
Sometimes we grieve relationships that have changed, versions of ourselves we've outgrown, careers we've left behind, dreams that unfolded differently than we imagined, or seasons of life that have quietly come to an end.
You might be here if:
You're navigating a significant life change and feel less grounded than you expected.
You're grieving a relationship, role, identity, or future you imagined.
You're struggling to adjust after divorce, career change, retirement, or becoming a parent.
You're finding it difficult to let go of a chapter that has ended.
You're unsure who you're becoming next.
You want support making sense of what's changing without feeling rushed to "move on."
Together, we create space to honour what has been lost, understand what is changing, and move toward what's next with intention and self-compassion.
