Individual Psychotherapy
What to Expect
Individual therapy invites a depth of honesty, vulnerability, and curiosity about your own life story — no matter what season of life you are currently navigating.
My therapeutic approach is integrative and draws from several evidence-based modalities, including Emotion-Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Self-Compassion Focused Therapy, Somatic Psychotherapy, and trauma and attachment-based therapies. These approaches help us explore both the emotional and relational patterns that shape your experiences while also developing practical tools for regulation and growth.
Our work together will move at a pace that feels safe and meaningful, allowing space to explore the deeper roots of emotional patterns while building practical strategies for navigating daily life.
In our work together, you may learn to:
• recognize early signs of stress, overwhelm, and emotional activation
• develop practical tools to regulate your nervous system and manage stress
• reconnect with your body and notice the signals it provides
• understand how early relational experiences influence current relationships
• explore attachment patterns and develop healthier relational dynamics
• stabilize mood and strengthen emotional resilience
• identify and shift patterns that may be keeping you stuck
• move toward your goals with greater self-trust and self-compassion
• release cycles of shame, blame, and self-criticism
• cultivate meaning, purpose, and presence through mindfulness and breath-based practices
